RAAM Group sells 2k MG Comet in Hyd in 12 months
Eyes higher traction with Blackstorm; banks on BaaS model to attract customers

Hyderabad: City-based RAAM Group, an exclusive dealer of JSW MG Motor India, a joint venture between SAIC Motor and JSW Group, on Tuesday unveiled the Blackstorm edition of MG Comet in the city. The car dealer has sold 2,000 MG Comet in Hyderabad, over the last one year, and is looking forward to receive customer enquiries for Blackstorm.
“We have not received pre-booking requests for MG Comet. The 2,000 units sold across RAAM Group’s five touch-points in Hyderabad are majorly through word of mouth. People have to understand its concept to start liking it. Most of the customers own Comet for secondary usage to travel within the city while their primary car might be a SUV,” Ankith, General Manager, Digital Sales, RAAM Group, said.
The dealer has sold 5,000 units of MG ZS EV since its launch, and has received 3,000 pre-booking orders for MG Windsor. JSW MG Motor India will be launching MG Majestor after September, as a newer version of MG Gloster, a premium SUV that is priced above Rs 55 lakh.
